Located south of SR 312 and east of US1, St Augustine South is an area of homes built since the 1970's. There are waterfront homes and residences with water views. The lot sizes vary but many are a 1/4 acre or more. St Augustine South home prices start around $150,000 and run up over $500,000 for waterfront homes. Most of the area is wooded with shade trees and many homes have extensive landscaping. The area's major shopping is along US1 is just blocks away and medical facilities and a hospital are within a five minute drive. The Intracoastal and boat ramps are on the east side of this neighborhood. Downtown St Augustine is just a three or four mile drive.
