Just over the Bridge of Lions at the north end of Anastasia Island, Davis Shores is one of the early neighborhoods developed after the wooden bridge was built. It grew after the construction of the Bridge of Lions in the 1920's. While some of the original homes still exist many have been replaced by up-scale residences. There are homes with waterfront and docks on the Intracoastal. Prices in Davis Shores range from $300K to over one million. This location is within a mile of downtown and ten to fifteen minutes from the major shopping area and medical facilities on US1. It is three miles to the ocean beach.
